N.Y. General Business Law § 1005: Officers and employees of the commission

§ 1005. Officers and employees of the commission. The secretary of

state may appoint, and at his or her pleasure remove, an executive

director, deputies, officers, inspectors, physicians and any such other

employees as may be necessary to administer the provisions of this

article and fix their salaries within the amount appropriated therefor.
