N.Y. General Construction Law § 16-b: Condemnation

§ 16-b. Condemnation. The term "condemnation" when used in reference to

the acquiring of any title to, right or interest in, real property

through the exercise of the power of eminent domain, shall be deemed to

mean acquisition.
