N.Y. General Construction Law § 37-a: Personal injury

§ 37-a. Personal injury. "Personal injury" includes libel, slander and

malicious prosecution; also an assault, battery, false imprisonment, or

other actionable injury to the person either of the plaintiff, or of

another.
