N.Y. General Municipal Law § 354: Annual appropriation

§ 354. Annual appropriation. The local authorities of a county, city,

village or town, to which this article is applicable having power to

appropriate money therein may annually appropriate and cause to be

raised by taxation in such county, city, village or town, a sum

sufficient to carry out the provisions of this article.
