N.Y. General Municipal Law § 696-c: Site preparation

§ 696-c. Site preparation. A municipality shall be authorized to

undertake site preparation for each eligible area prior to its

disposition. Such site preparation may include, but need not be limited

to, demolition, site clearance and the curing of problems caused by

abnormal site conditions.
