N.Y. General Municipal Law § 72-m: Appropriations for Bicentennial celebration

* § 72-m. Appropriations for Bicentennial celebration. A municipal

corporation may after a public hearing appropriate annually a sum that

it deems appropriate for the purpose of defraying the expenses of the

preparation and celebration of the bicentennial celebration of the

United States of America. The provisions of this section shall remain in

full force and effect until December thirty-first, nineteen hundred

seventy-seven.
