N.Y. Highway Law § 44: Acceptance of state highways when completed

§ 44. Acceptance of state highways when completed. Upon the completion

of a state highway, or section thereof, constructed or improved under a

contract let as provided in this article, the commissioner of

transportation shall cause the same to be inspected and if he approve,

accept the work.
