N.Y. Labor Law § 25: Power to enter and inspect premises

§ 25. Power to enter and inspect premises. The commissioner or the

officers and employees of the department shall inspect every place which

is, or which they have reasonable cause to believe is, affected by the

provisions of this chapter, and they may in the discharge of their

duties enter any such places.
