N.Y. Labor Law § 400: Notice of beginning

§ 400. Notice of beginning. Every operator opening a new shaft,

incline, tunnel or quarry shall report in writing its location and the

name of its owner to the commissioner before the excavation reaches a

depth of twenty-five feet.
