N.Y. Local Finance Law § 173.00: Pending actions, suits and proceedings not affected

§ 173.00 Pending actions, suits and proceedings not affected. No

action, suit or proceeding, pending at the time when this chapter shall

take effect, brought by or against a municipality, school district or

district corporation or any agency, board, commission or official

thereof, shall be affected or abated by the adoption of this chapter or

by anything therein contained, and such action, suit or proceeding shall

be continued as if this chapter shall not have taken effect.
