N.Y. Public Authorities Law § 1199-xxx: Effect of inconsistent provisions

§ 1199-xxx. Effect of inconsistent provisions. Insofar as the

provisions of this title are inconsistent with the provisions of any

other law except the environmental conservation law and the public

health law as they exist or as they shall be amended, general, special

or local, or of any charter or any local law, ordinance or resolution of

the county or other municipality, the provisions of this section shall

be controlling and shall supplement or otherwise expand the powers or

duties of the authority otherwise set forth in this title. Nothing

contained in this title shall be held to alter or abridge the powers and

duties of the department of environmental conservation or the department

of health.
