* § 161. Bonds to be tax exempt. The bonds shall be exempt from
taxation except for transfer and estate taxes. This section shall apply
only to bonds issued before January first, nineteen hundred thirty-nine.
Nothing in this section shall be construed to repeal any tax exemption
granted by general law.
