N.Y. Public Health Law § 30-a: Definitions

§ 30-a. Definitions. For the purposes of this title, the following

definitions shall apply:

1. "Inspector" means the Medicaid inspector general created by this

title.

2. "Investigation" means investigations of fraud, abuse, or illegal

acts perpetrated within the medical assistance program, by providers or

recipients of medical assistance care, services and supplies.

3. "Office" means the office of the Medicaid inspector general created

by this title.
