§ 3031. Advanced life support system. Advanced life support system

must (1) be under the overall supervision and direction of a qualified

physician with respect to the advanced life support services provided,

(2) be staffed by qualified medical and health personnel, (3) utilize

advanced emergency medical technicians whose certification is

appropriate to the advanced life support services provided, (4) utilize

advanced support mobile units appropriate to the advanced life support

services provided, (5) maintain a treatment-management record for each

patient receiving advanced life support services, and (6) be integrated

with a hospital emergency, intensive care, coronary care or other

appropriate service.
