N.Y. Public Housing Law § 102: Authorization to make subsidies for the aid, care and support of the needy

§ 102. Authorization to make subsidies for the aid, care and support

of the needy. Notwithstanding the provisions of section ninety-four of

this article, a municipality is authorized to make or contract to make

capital subsidies for the construction, reconstruction, development and

capital improvement of public housing to an authority operating within

the territorial limits of such municipality, payable either with moneys

locally appropriated therefor from the general fund or other funds

available for current expenses of such municipality or from the proceeds

of borrowings or other moneys available from the capital fund or other

funds available for capital improvements of such municipality.
