N.Y. Public Housing Law § 12: Officers and employees

§ 12. Officers and employees. Subject to approval by the governor, or

pursuant to rules prescribed by him, the commissioner may appoint such

officers and employees as may be required for the performance of the

powers and duties of the division, determine their qualifications and

fix their compensation within the amount provided by appropriation.
