N.Y. Real Property Tax Law § 1510: Solid waste fees

§ 1510. Solid waste fees. Notwithstanding the provisions of any

general or special law to the contrary, the legislative body of a county

may by resolution direct the collecting officers of the towns in such

county to collect solid waste fees at the same time and in the same

manner as county and town taxes are collected. Such fees shall be paid

by such collecting officers to the appropriate officer of the county in

the same manner and at the same time as county taxes.
