N.Y. Religious Corporations Law § 327: Vacancies in board of trustees

§ 327. Vacancies in board of trustees. If any trustee of such

incorporated United Methodist church declines to act, resigns, dies, or

has his trusteeship terminated by any other means, his office shall be

vacant and the quarterly conference of the church in any regular or a

special session may fill the vacancy until the next annual corporate

meeting when trustees are elected at which meeting the vacancy shall be

filled for the unexpired term.
