N.Y. Religious Corporations Law § 401: Incorporation of an unincorporated society

§ 401. Incorporation of an unincorporated society. Any five members of

an unincorporated religious society, who are of full age, may call a

meeting for the purpose of incorporating such society under this

article. The notice of such meeting shall be mailed at least fourteen

days prior to the date of the meeting. The notice shall state in

substance that a meeting of the unincorporated society will be held at a

specified place, day and hour for the purpose of incorporating the

society, electing trustees and selecting a corporate name.
