§ 315. State supervision. The police and fire retirement system
established by this article shall be subject to the supervision of the
superintendent of financial services. Such supervision shall be in
accordance with the provisions of the insurance law to the extent that
such provisions are applicable to the police and fire retirement system
and are not inconsistent with the provisions of this article.
