N.Y. Social Services Law § 172: Moneys to be provided

§ 172. Moneys to be provided. 1. The social services official of

every county, city or town responsible for veteran assistance, under the

provisions of this title, shall include in his or her annual estimate

for safety net assistance the amount necessary to carry out the

provisions of this title in such county, city or town.

2. Legislative bodies shall make appropriations and raise money for

veteran assistance in the same manner as for safety net assistance.
