N.Y. Social Services Law § 259: Application of other provisions

§ 259. Application of other provisions. 1. Provisions of this chapter

and other laws relating to public assistance and care not inconsistent

with this title shall be applied in carrying out the provisions of this

title.

2. The provisions of any city charter or other local or special act

which are inconsistent with the provisions of this title shall not be

applicable to the services provided by this title, nor impair nor limit

the statewide operation of this title, according to its terms.
