N.Y. Social Services Law § 472-k: Placement of children in care of corporation; effect of placement

§ 472-k. Placement of children in care of corporation; effect of

placement. The family court may commit or place in said corporation,

with its consent, any child adjudicated to be a juvenile delinquent or a

person in need of supervision. Such commitment or placement in said

corporation shall be to the custody and control thereof for the period

provided in the order of commitment or placement.
