N.Y. State Law § 59-c: Searches of title

§ 59-c. Searches of title. The attorney-general shall furnish to the

commission all searches necessary to prove the title to the lands taken

as provided in this article. The expense of making such searches shall

be paid from the treasury out of the funds appropriated therefor, on the

audit and warrant of the comptroller.
