N.Y. Transportation Corporations Law § 117: Approval by department of health

§ 117. Approval by department of health. A local governing body shall

not consent to the establishment of a sewage-works corporation in any

municipality unless there shall first be filed with the department of

health, or city, county, or part-county department of health having

jurisdiction, maps and specifications of the proposed system and such

department shall have given its approval thereof.
