N.Y. Transportation Law § 16: Delegation of powers and duties

§ 16. Delegation of powers and duties. The commissioner may, by

official order filed with the department of transportation, delegate any

of his powers to or direct any of his duties to be performed by any

deputy, director, assistant, officer or employee of such department.
