N.Y. Transportation Law § 261: Transfer of functions

§ 261. Transfer of functions. All of the functions and powers

possessed by and all the obligations and duties of the department of

public works and the superintendent of public works, except those

pertaining to the construction of public buildings, and flood control

and shore line and beach erosion control, transferred to the office of

general services in the executive department and the conservation

department, respectively, are hereby transferred and assigned to,

assumed by and developed upon the department of transportation.
