N.Y. Uniform Justice Court Act § 409: Summons; filing; proof of service

§ 409. Summons; filing; proof of service.

(a) A copy of the summons and complaint with proof of service shall be

filed with the clerk within six days after service.

(b) If service has been made by the court's enforcement officer, his

certificate shall be the equivalent of an affidavit of service.
