N.Y. Volunteer Firefighters' Benefit Law § 53: Enforcement of payment

§ 53. Enforcement of payment. 1. The provisions of section twenty-six

of the workmen's compensation law, other than the portions relating to

section fourteen-a, subdivision eight of section fifteen and section

fifty of the workmen's compensation law, shall be applicable as fully as

if set forth in this chapter.

2. The provisions of section fifty-four-b of the workmen's

compensation law shall be applicable as fully as if set forth in this

chapter.
