N.Y.C. Admin. Code § 20-558: § 20-558 Enforcement and rules.

a. Authorized officers and employees of the department, and any department designated by the commissioner, as well as any police or peace officer, shall have the power to enforce any provision of this subchapter or any rule promulgated pursuant to this subchapter. This provision shall in no way restrict any other power granted by law to an officer or employee of any city agency.

b. Any police officer may seize from an unlicensed ticket seller tickets to be vended and devices used to vend by an unlicensed ticket seller.
