N.Y.C. Admin. Code § 28-304.2: § 28-304.2 Elevators, escalators, moving walkways, material lifts, man lifts and dumbwaiters.

Elevators, escalators, moving walkways, material lifts, man lifts and dumbwaiters shall be inspected and tested in accordance with section 28-304.6, chapter 30 of the New York city building code, and the schedule set forth in Table N1 of ASME A17.1 as modified by chapter K1 of appendix K of the New York city building code.
