N.Y.C. Admin. Code § 28-308.2.2: § 28-308.2.2 Timing of energy audit.

Except as otherwise provided in section 28-308.7, the energy audit shall be completed no earlier than four years prior to the date on which a covered building's energy efficiency report is filed with the department pursuant to this article.
