3312.1 General.
All handling, transporting, and use of explosives, as defined by the New York City Fire Code, shall comply with the New York City Fire Code and Section 3307.4.2. The use of explosives is strictly prohibited unless the written consent of the commissioner and the Fire Department is obtained.
Exception: Explosive powered or projectile tools that comply with Section 3311.
