1012.1 Light and ventilation.
Light and ventilation shall comply with the requirements of Chapter 12 of the New York City Building Code for the new occupancy or use.
1012.1.1 Group R-1, R-2, and I-1 occupancies.
Where the occupancy classification of an existing building or part thereof is changed to Occupancy Group R-1, R-2, or I-1, such change shall also be subject to the requirements of Appendix D and the New York City Housing Maintenance Code.
1012.1.2 Group R-3 occupancy.
Where the occupancy classification of a building or part thereof is changed to Occupancy Group R-3, such change shall also be subject to the requirements of the New York City Housing Maintenance Code.
