Chapter 12: The New York City Existing Building Code (effective July 17, 2027)

Alterations, additions, repairs and changes of occupancy of fireproof multiple dwellings erected prior to December 6, 1968, and classified as HAEA (1929-1968) and HAEB (1929-1968) shall comply with the provisions of this code and the additional provisions of Chapter D3.
