Chapter 12: The New York City Existing Building Code (effective July 17, 2027)

Alterations to multiple dwellings classified as LHs shall comply with the provisions of the New York City Existing Building Code, the provisions of Section 66 of the MDL, and the rules of the department of housing preservation and development in relation to the conduct and maintenance of lodging houses.
