A Local Law to extend the time to file applications for correction of assessments for taxation of class one property for the year nineteen hundred eighty-five
Be it enacted by the Council as follows:
Section one. Notwithstanding the provisions of subdivision b of section one hundred sixty-four-b or section fifteen hundred ten of the New York city charter, or any other provision of law, rule or regulation to the contrary, during the year nineteen hundred eighty-five:
a. Employees of the tax commission or the real property assessment bureau of the department of finance, authorized by the president to accept applications for correction of the assessment of property classified as class one pursuant to the provisions of article eighteen of the real property tax law, shall accept such applications between the fifteenth day of January and the first day of April.
b. The books of the annual record of assessed valuation shall, in respect to property designated as class one property, remain open for public inspection until the first day of April.
§ 2. This local law shall take effect immediately.
