A Local Law to amend the administrative code of the city of New York, in relation to authorizing the preparation and submission of applications to the state commissioner of economic development for designation of four areas as economic development zones and setting forth the boundary descriptions of such areas

Be it enacted by the Council as follows:

§ 3. The department of business services is hereby authorized to prepare and submit applications to the state commissioner of economic development, in accordance with article 18-B of the general municipal law, for designation as economic development zones areas whose boundaries are set forth in sections 22-709, 22-710, 22-711 and 22-712 of the administrative code of the city of New York, as added by section 2 of this local law.

§ 4. This local law shall take effect immediately.
