912.1 General.

Electric infrared radiant heaters shall comply with UL 499.

912.2 Support.

Infrared radiant heaters shall be fixed in a position independent of fuel and electric supply lines. Hangers and brackets shall be noncombustible material.

912.3 Clearances.

Heaters shall be installed with clearances from combustible material in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
