a.

Definitions. As used in this section the following terms have the following meanings:

Advisory body. The term “advisory body” means an entity: (i) established by local law or executive order to advise, study, or report on a subject; (ii) the body of which includes at least one member of the public; (iii) which holds one or more public meetings; and (iv) that is neither a community board nor a borough board.

By-laws. The term “by-laws” means the code or codes of rules adopted for the regulation or management of the affairs of an advisory body regardless of the name or names by which such rules are designated.

Publication of by-laws. Any advisory body that adopts by-laws shall publish such by-laws to its website, or to the city’s website, in a searchable, non-proprietary, and machine-readable format. Any advisory body that updates its by-laws shall publish updated by-laws no later than 2 weeks after the date on which such advisory body adopts revisions to such by-laws. An advisory body that has completed its functions pursuant to local law or executive order shall no longer be required to post or update its by-laws pursuant to this paragraph.
