  2. Chapter 340 Alcohol, Drug Addiction, and Mental Health Services

As used in this section, "disability" has the same meaning as in section 4112.01 of the Revised Code.

No board of alcohol, drug addiction, and mental health services or any community addiction services provider or community mental health services provider under contract with such a board shall discriminate in the provision of addiction services, mental health services, or recovery supports under its authority, in employment, or under a contract on the basis of race, color, religion, ancestry, military status, sex, age, national origin, or disability.

Each board, community addiction services provider, and community mental health services provider shall have a written affirmative action program. The affirmative action program shall include goals for the employment and effective utilization of, including contracts with, members of economically disadvantaged groups as defined in division (E)(1) of section 122.71 of the Revised Code in percentages reflecting as nearly as possible the composition of the alcohol, drug addiction, and mental health service district served by the board. Each board and provider shall file a description of the affirmative action program and a progress report on its implementation with the department of behavioral health.
