Ohio Rev. Code § 4723.438: Certified nurse-midwives - authority to sign documents.

For purposes of sections 173.521, 173.542, 3701.162, 3721.01, 3721.011, 3721.041, 3727.19, 3742.03, 3742.04, 3742.07, 3923.25, 4506.07, 4507.06, 4507.08, 4507.081, and 4507.141 of the Revised Code, a certified nurse-midwife may sign documents or take related actions under those sections only if the nurse's scope of practice, as determined in accordance with section 4723.43 of the Revised Code and standards established by the board of nursing, authorizes the nurse to practice in the manner described in those sections.
