Ohio Rev. Code § 5534.418: Deputy Sheriff Bill Bender and Trooper Randy Bender Memorial Highway.

In addition to any other name prescribed by the Revised Code or otherwise, the eastbound and westbound lanes of state route number three hundred nine, between the intersection of that route and Marion-Williamsport road west and the intersection of that route and Holland road, in Marion county, shall be known as the "Deputy Sheriff Bill Bender and Trooper Randy Bender Memorial Highway."

The director of transportation may erect suitable markers along the highway indicating its name.
