Okla. Stat. tit. 11, § 11-16-209: First election held in council-manager city

At the first general municipal election held in the odd-numbered

year following adoption of the statutory council-manager form of

government, the officers to be elected and their terms are as

follows:

1. Four-year terms: Councilmembers from Wards One, Two and

Five (if one).

2. Two-year terms: Councilmembers from Wards Three, Four and

Six (if one); and the councilmember at large.

At general municipal elections held thereafter, the successors of

the officers whose terms are expiring shall be elected for four-year

terms.
