Okla. Stat. tit. 11, § 11-19-102: Election on question - Notice

The question of changing the name of the municipality shall be

submitted to the registered voters of the municipality at a general

or special election to be held in the municipality not less than

thirty (30) nor more than sixty (60) days after the date of the

order calling for the election. Notice of the election on the

question shall be given by the governing body in the manner required

for municipal elections.
