Okla. Stat. tit. 11, § 11-2-102: Name of incorporated town or city

An incorporated municipality may be known as the:

1. "City of _________"; or

2. "Town of _________";

but no municipality which changes its name or incorporates shall

adopt the name of an existing municipality in this state.
