Okla. Stat. tit. 11, § 11-20-103: Changes proposed by governing body - Notice

The governing body shall give at least thirty (30) days' notice

of the proposal by the governing body to change the name,

boundaries, or number of wards. The notice shall be published at

least once. After the thirty-day notice period, the governing body

may make the proposed changes by ordinance which shall be approved

by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of its members.
