Okla. Stat. tit. 11, § 11-29-103: Firefighters - How appointed

The members of all paid municipal fire departments shall, on

approval of the chief of the fire department, be appointed in the

manner provided by law applicable to the form of municipal

government for the appointment of municipal employees.
