Okla. Stat. tit. 11, § 11-8-110: Candidacy of municipal officer for county or state

office - Resignation.

Any member of a municipal governing body, the city or town

clerk, and the city marshal shall be eligible to become a candidate

for a county or state office without resigning from the office held

by the officer.
