Okla. Stat. tit. 2, § 2-6-1: State Veterinarian

The State Veterinarian shall be the holder of a current license

to practice veterinary medicine in Oklahoma, and shall be appointed

by the State Board of Agriculture. The Board shall fix the

compensation and duties of the State Veterinarian.
